XS-6S Pump Summary
The XS-6S uses a two-vane, semi-open impeller designed for solids-laden liquids and slurries.
Pump-out vanes on the impeller shroud help reduce foreign-material buildup behind the impeller and reduce pressure on the seal and bearings, supporting reliable operation and easier maintenance.
The XS-6S also features a four-point external shimless adjustment at the clean-out cover for setting impeller-to-wear-plate clearance.
Solids-Handling Impeller
- Two-vane, semi-open design
- Handles solids up to 3-inch diameter, depending on pump model
- Pump-out vanes help reduce foreign-material buildup behind the impeller

Cartridge Seal
- Double-floating, self-aligning, oil-lubricated mechanical cartridge seal
- Stationary and rotating faces are tungsten titanium carbide
- Designed for abrasive and/or trash-handling applications
Removable Rotating Assembly
- Can be removed without disturbing the pump volute or piping
- Pusher bolts provide assistance with removal
- Spare rotating assembly can be installed to reduce downtime
Bearing Protection
- Atmospheric barrier with 2 lip seals
- Provides additional bearing protection
- Allows external seal monitoring

External Shimless Adjustment
- Back cover / clean-out cover uses a 4-point external shimless adjustment
- Used to set impeller-to-wear-plate clearance
- Applies to XS-3S, XS-4S, XS-6S, and XS-8S
